We had a great time at the Whippet National Specialty this year. The crew had a big drive, 14 hours (it ended up being longer) each way to Pasco, Texas. We rented a Ram Promaster 2500 AKA the Sparkle Bus for our voyage north! The Sparkle Bus was outfitted with unicorns, sparklers and many whippets. Disco, Yoshi, Juno, Murphy and Persephone were our passengers. This was my last National with Audrey.

We ended up hitting the Lodi show on our way up - Sacramento Kennel Club. Juno picked up a couple of Selects and the puppy got some more ring experience. We then made our trek up north. After a couple of days, we made it! We settled in on Monday evening, and stayed through Saturday afternoon.

Persephone, our little home bred baby girl was entered in quite a few events. We were particularly proud of her performance in the BRACE Class. She and her mom were so in sync (first photo below ... yes, it's both girls!) - and matched up like little twins - that mom's silhouette disappeared behind hers!

Disco won a competitive 10-12 Veterans class. Yoshi went National Specialty Altered Best of Breed. Then Disco went 2nd in the regular Veterans 10-12 class.

The girls didn't have any placements, but they did show like gangbusters! We had a great time and it was awesome to see our friends there! Until next year .....!!!!!
